Dr Oliver Kuhnle will be appointed as a new member of the Management Board of CG Car-Garantie Versicherungs-AG (CarGarantie) on 1 February 2026. He will succeed Wolfgang Bach, who is retiring. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he will form the CarGarantie Executive Board team together with Chief Executive Officer Dr Marcus Söldner and Anna Biesenthal, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer (COO and CIO).
Oliver Kuhnle, as a member of the Executive Board, is responsible for finance, controlling, central services, legal & compliance, and human resources. Kuhnle studied business administration in Stuttgart and subsequently obtained a doctorate in finance. In the years that followed, he worked for the W&W Group (Wüstenrot und Württembergische). There he held various positions, including heading up securities reporting for the group's asset manager and overseeing a transformation programme for property insurance. In addition, he was the sole founding managing director of Adam Riese, the W&W Group's digital brand, for several years.
Wolfgang Bach is retiring
Wolfgang Bach, CFO at CarGarantie, is retiring after more than eight years on the company's board. He will continue to work for the company in a professional capacity during a transition period before stepping down from the board.
Since 1 November 2017, Wolfgang Bach has been responsible for finance, controlling, central services, legal & compliance, and human resources as a member of the Executive Board. CarGarantie would like to thank him for his many years of service and his work on the Executive Board team and wishes him all the best for the future.
