CarGarantie receives ISO certification for information security

Back to the menu overview

This is the leading international standard for information security management systems. The certification underscores the specialist insurer's ongoing commitment to implementing, monitoring and improving information security.

The ISO/IEC 27001 standard specifies the requirements for the establishment, operation and further development of an information security management system (ISMS). In order to obtain this certificate, two external audits must be carried out after all requirements have been met. In March and April 2021, both audits were completed at CarGarantie. Among other things, the internal guidelines, documents, measures and processes of the CarGarantie ISMS were closely examined by the respected DEKRA Certification GmbH and the certificate was subsequently issued.

CarGarantie was able to completely convince during the certification audit. The auditors emphasised the high level of information and process security. In order to continue to guarantee this level and to further expand the high quality standard of the ISMS, CarGarantie undergoes regular review and recertification audits.

Dr. Marcus Söldner, CEO CarGarantie:
„We are very proud to have proven with the successful certification that CarGarantie's information security management also meets the highest standards. Our thanks go to all our contractual partners, to whom the new certificate proves that their trust in our cooperation and the security of their information is justified. CarGarantie constantly puts its own quality standards to the test, both externally and internally. Our aim is to continue to be the first choice service provider in the area of information security and security processes.“
